CURRENT LOCATION
The map at the bottom of this page shows Gjoa's current location with a pink dot (the dot may be underneath the 'vessel details' window, don't close this window as you will lose our filter, just drag the 'vessel details' window off to the upper left and then use the +- buttons to zoom in/out and our pink dot should become visible).
This map is courtesy of www.marinetraffic.com which collects all vessel AIS (Automatic Identification System) data from both shore-based stations and satellites. If we're not close to a shore-based station we may not show up on this map. If we are close and our AIS transponder is on, our location will be displayed in almost real time.
