It has just come to our attention that our tow has been written up on the Canadian Geographic blog, complete with photo slideshow. Interesting to note that there was a second polar bear on the prowl, we only saw one!

You undoubtedly see the CanGeo url I posted for you... I'd appreciate answers to the questions. If not sorry to have bothered you - enjoy a nice long winter's nap at Cambridge Bay... still time to run to Alaska... or beyond...
ReplyDeleteWonderful adventures! I wonder if those supposed "sheepish" looks were looks of thanks. Keep it up! We on Leander are following you closely.

Dear Ingrid and Robert,
DeleteGlad you're enjoying the blog. Thanks for reading and bringing this tv appearance to our attention. Only wish we spoke German so we could get the context of why we would be appearing in a documentary on Finding the Erebus. Good footage of one of the polar bears beside us. For anybody interested, our four minute clip starts around 35 minutes into the program and if you speak German it looks like a good program to watch in its entirety!
